  • "The market was amazing with a wonderful variety of fresh fruit, clothing, leather goods, and olives. We were overwhelmed by a very charming female stall holder selling olives, stuffed, marinated, and beautifully presented. No complaints so far. Having been offered tastings, we decided to choose two types. This is where the Spanish chatter became overwhelming. Sadly, we do not speak Spanish (guilty as charged). The olives were placed in two large plastic containers. My girlfriend said "no too much." Some were removed. Others were added in smaller containers, which felt complimentary. The the price. €41.00!!. My girlfriend began to pay, and before you know it, we had parted with this sum. I realised we had been conned by which time we had started to walk away. It appears the owner of the apartment we are renting in Torriveija and other of her guests have parted with equally high sums. So enjoy the market, but keep your guard up. Do not fall for the slick sales technique. Yes, lovely olives but massively overpriced. Did it ruin our visit. No. It's a fantastic place. We were foolish, but hey, it's only money, right?"

  • "Just picked up our 7 months old puppy from these kennels after a 4 day stay. He has never been left in kennels before so we were quite anxious as to how he would settle. The staff picked up that he was initially nervous and gave him one on one time. He was then introduced to other dogs and we were sent a video and messages during his stay. He was obviously pleased to see us back but was content whilst away. Can't thank the staff enough for their care and would definately recommend these kennels."
